I live in Bristol, which is an ace city, at the moment its just me and my partner atm however she really wants a dog, I do too, but haven’t told her that yet.

In our spare time we enjoy hiking and snowboarding/skiing together as well as travelling the world together. Out Top 3 places we’ve visited are, Croatia, Baquiera-Beret (a ski resort in the Pyrenees mountain range) and Iceland. Hopefully if possible we will be skiing and visiting Japan next year!

When not together my partner is an avid painter while I am a member of a couple of women’s mountain biking and motorcycle groups.

We are obviously both active in the LGBTQ+ community, while my partner champions Diversity and Inclusivity at her work, I help LGBTQ+ networks in Bristol specifically engineering companies.

I am Commercial Manager on the Roads and Networks Project, Responsible for managing and controlling the financial aspects of Area 2 & 3 Networks and Area 3 Road on the Roads and Networks Control, total value of £2.1million. I have been responsible for developing the resource profiles across all areas of the Project. As well as managing the team and ensuring we meet our client technical requirements

I was the Delivery Manager on the UK1226 contract, responsible for planning and managing the delivery of 15000 reinforcing and General Arrangement drawings as well as detailed Revit and Tekla Model across multiple buildings. I was personally responsible for diving digital innovation within the project allowing detailed automated checking and design, improving efficiency and also reducing costs. I spent a lot of time with my client working to build good relationships and ensuring we work together collaboratively to solve emerging issues.

Before this I worked in Heavy Civil Enginering, design Water Retaining Structures for Waste Water (poo water) treatment works. I also worked on lots of treatment plants ensuring the designs were safe which means we could provide clean water to peoples houses.

Finally I spent some time working on the railways assessing tunnels and bridges and making sure that they were safe for trains to travel over and under.

My day changes everyday and no two days are ever the same.

My day normally starts the same prioritising my work and assessing who needs help. A lot of my time will then be spent making sure our teams have the relevant time, resources and money to complete a job. I also spent a lot of time with my clients making sure they are happy our work.
