I am a PhD student based at the University of Warwick currently displaced to my partner’s wonderful family farm by the Coronavirus pandemic. Normally I live in Warwickshire but we are currently helping out on the farm when we can in Devon. I was actually inspired by this farm to pursue a masters and a PhD in environmental/agricultural science!
My best friend is a dog named Tilly who lives here at the farm. See photo below:
In my spare time my partner and I love to get outside and do fun outdoorsy activities. Currently we are both in training for a trail marathon which goes up Mount Snowdon in North Wales. I used to be crazy about white-water kayaking and through that I got to see some incredible places. I am now more into surfing.
I am a proud vegetarian and massive coffee lover. I also love to experiment with new recipes (although I never stick to them) and bake. I try to use my creativity when I can by drawing or painting.
Finally, I love nature and have a passion to conserve it – another reason why I am doing a PhD.
