Zoe Haime answered on 13 Jul 2020:
Hi Jessica,
It can be really fun! We tend to get involved in lots of things, from doing cognitive assessments, and meeting participants, to attending conferences, working on writing, contributing to things like ‘im a scientist’, data analysis, making posters, all sorts! It’s a really varied job, but you can concentrate on aspects that you feel more confident in or want to improve. It is however, tough! There’s lot of things to do, some can be quite monotonous, and the work can be difficult. If you have a passion for your area though it can feel really great to feel like you’re making a difference and doing something important.
