Hi! Here’s a nice description of how you could do this: https://www.nhm.ac.uk/discover/how-to-make-a-volcano.html

You should be able to find everything you need at home/at the supermarket!

Tiffany has given a really nice link to how to do this! This kind of chemical reaction can actually be used to do some other experiments too – why not try making a rocket too? https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=qZEEAiz8eQc

      Hi!
Here is another link which instead of paper uses flour to make the outside of the volcano and adds the contents a little differently than the link already shared by Tiffany!

The concept is the same for any source you use. You are basically going to have a bottle that you fill about halfway with warm water and you want to add in washing up liquid and sodium bicarbonate/baking soda, so that you have a uniform mixture of the powder and washing up liquid in the water. In order to mix them, don’t shake the bottle, but swirl it instead 🙂
Then once you are ready for the eruption you add some vinegar! The vinegar is an acid and reacts with the basic baking soda which releases gas and causes the liquid to pour out. The washing up liquid just helps hold everything together and make it foamy.
Then you can add red food colouring or likewise to make the ‘lava’ red.
      I hope it goes well!!
