      Hi Eden. I’m a medicinal chemist which means I try and make new substances/chemicals that we test to see if they work against diseases. For example, if you were trying to make a new antibiotic (a medicine that kills bacteria that can make you sick) you might make some new chemicals that you think would work and then a biologist would see if they kill bacteria. We then try and improve them by making similar molecules and seeing if they are better or worse than the original
