Education:
I grew up in Dorset and went to Hayeswood Primary School, before moving to Wales at age 10. I then went to school at Crickhowell High School in rural south east Wales. From there I went to Bangor University in North Wales to study English and Music. After graduating I realised that actually I prefer science, so after a few years of volunteering I then did a MSc in conservation ecology at Oxford Brookes University. Now I am doing a PhD on slugs and snails with Newcastle University.
